About the author
COVID-19 puts at greatest risk our most vulnerable communities, such as the families of the Arcot Lutheran Church schools in rural Tamil Nadu, India who have been CSR partners with Tractus for 8 years. As India remains under lockdown after the past 6 weeks, many of the daily wage-earning parents of ALC schoolchildren have lost their jobs and sources of income. To support these families, Tractus donated 10 kilos of rice to each of the 40 families of the ALC Danish Mission Primary School in Sankarapuram, Kallakurichi District. Headmaster John Wesley distributed the rice at the school, which has been running for nearly 200 years.
