As a Consulting Manager, you will work with and lead a diverse team of individuals with expertise in engineering, sciences, financial and operational analysis, geographic analysis, and applied economics. You will work independently and in teams with leading Fortune 500 and 1000 companies on engagements that help them build and expand their businesses in Asian and global markets. As a manager, you will oversee, plan, and execute on multiple projects within our consulting, M&A, and economic development practices. You will be responsible for presenting findings and reports to clients’ senior management and C-level executives on strategic, financial, and operational decisions.

The Consulting Manager will organize and manage multiple consulting engagement teams to effectively deliver strategic analysis and tactical commercial advice to the company’s clients as contracted, on schedule, within budget and exceeding the clients’ expectations. You will also collaborate with directors and the business development team to strategize, plan, and execute on new ways to grow the individual practices.

  • Outline the scope of work and identify and map out schedules, milestones, and required resources to meet project objectives.
  • Develop and conduct communications to the company’s senior stakeholders, company staff, and internal and external project teams.
  • Develop solutions for complex client situations to meet their expectations.
  • Develop work plans, coordinate daily fieldwork, and lead project team efforts.
  • Conduct data analysis and design interviews for clients.
  • Lead and develop staff to ensure their effectiveness in delivering appropriate and accurate advice to clients as part of a cohesive team.
  • Execute and deliver consulting engagement tasks on schedule and within assigned costs when assigned a leader of an engagement team.
  • Communicate with client management such as C-suite client leadership.
  • Monitor client expectation scope on generated results’ delivery.
  • Develop new consulting business either with existing or new clients.
  • Handle proposals and business development calls with directors and managers.
  • Actively participate in the global management team and administration of the company’s consulting practice.

  • Excellent at critically assessing problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Academic or professional experience undertaking market or financial analysis, preferably at a professional services firm (consulting, market research, banking/finance) or within industry (FMCG, manufacturing, medical devices, healthcare, etc).
  • Initiative to identify creative solutions to client and company problems.
  • Proven consulting, project management and leadership skills.
  • Initiative-taking, responsible and able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Vietnam industrial real estates market.
  • Knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, STATA, SPSS, and/or ArcGIS is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in business, economics, management, engineering or the sciences or professional equivalent is an advantage.
  • At least 8 years of business consulting or other relevant experience with marketing and selling professional services. A minimum of 5 years management or team leader work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral professional business communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese. Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
