Foreign manufacturing investment in Vietnam is preferentially located in industrial zones whose developers have acquired, consolidated, and established clear title to the land and installed utilities and infrastructure to support manufacturing investments. But complexities in land availability, schedule risk and the country’s dynamic regulatory environment means that the only thing that is certain in Vietnam is uncertainty.
